The Caitron Cleanroom Tablet PC is a IP69, mobile computing device that is designed to meet the strict requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) cleanrooms. The tablet is built in a stainless steel housing that is completely sealed (IP69) and has been developed according to GMP standards. The tablet also features a high-resolution multi-touch display that is operable with cleanroom gloves or a touch pen for enhanced precision. It has been designed with the most stringent of GMP standards in mind and as such has been independently certified by the Fraunhofer institute as suitable for use in GMP A production areas.
Now in its latest generation (CT13S9) the Caitron cleanroom tablet can no offer a number of USP's that cement its position as the market leading tablet for use in cleanroom environments.
These developments mean the tablet can now come complete with integrated NFC, wireless charging in the cleanroom and is now based on the latest Surface Pro 9 tablet therefore ensuring the maximum product life.

The stainless steel housing is completely sealed (IP69) and has been developed according to GMP standards. It is therefore free of edges and dead spaces and extremely resistant to cleaning agents commonly used in the industry. This enables comfortable and efficient cleaning over many cleaning cycles. The housing is designed for Microsoft Surface Pro 9 tablets.
The Caitron Cleanroom Tablet has been certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for use in GMP A production areas, therefore proving (from a compliance point) that it complies with the highest hygene standards.
The GMP cleanroom tablet can be conveniently operated with cleanroom gloves or a stylus.
Thanks to the slim design of the GMP-compliant stainless steel housing, the tablet weighs only 1.65 kg
The integrated reader module enables user authentication by means of a transponder medium directly on the tablet – this enables the use of various access control (yubikey etc) or biometric authentication (Nymi etc) systems.
